Crimea State MedicalUniversity named after S. I. Georgievsky is the institution of higher medical
education located in Simferopol, Russia. Crimea State Medical
University is one of the best medical colleges of Russia. Crimea Medical
University was started in the twenty first century. In the year 1995 it was
named CRIMEA STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY, in the honor of Sergey Ivanovich
Georgievsky (rector of the institute in 1951-1970). In 1998 the higher school
was transformed into university with the 4th (highest) accreditation level.
The Crimea Medical University’s medical education standard is among the highest world educational standards Crimea State Medical University upgrading the teaching methods day by day to keep pace with global trends in medical education and research.
